Sheryl Brady

May 14, 1957 — April 26, 2021

Sheryl Brady age 63 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday May 5, 2021 , at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to: Samantha Williams, 1753 145th Street, Packwood, Iowa 52580.

Sheryl was born May 14, 1957, to James and Shirley (Ellis) Simmons. She married Robert Earl Brady on November 19, 1976, in Fairfield.  They were married 41 years before he passed away on November 2, 2018.

Sheryl was a CNA at Nelson Nursing Home and Parkview Care Center for several years.  She was also a cook at the Senior Citizens Center and Econo Food.  Sheryl received much joy helping those at Tenco with their life skills.  She enjoyed watching wrestling and baseball on TV.  Most important was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Sheryl will be missed by her children, Kelly Lopez of Coralville and Samantha (Mark) Williams of Packwood; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Alexandria and Abigail; 5 step grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, Damon; 3 siblings, Danny (Terry) Simmons of Farson, Charlie Simmons of Fairfield and Tina (Mike) Whitworth of Wylie, TX.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Shirley Simmons; and husband, Robert.
