Katherine Sue Zuck

Katherine Sue Zuck age 68 of Fairfield, formerly of Kansas City and Denver, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

Per Katherine’s request there will not be any services.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.

Katherine was born April 22, 1954, to Henry and Maudie “Alice” (Brooks) Zuck.

Katherine lived in Grundy Center moving to Fairfield 2 years ago.  She worked as an accounting clerk throughout her career.  Katherine enjoyed working outside doing yard work, gardening and had many indoor house plants.  Katherine painted many ceramic pieces that she would share with family.  She loved going to Colorado and seeing the mountains. Katherine enjoyed watching true crime shows. Most important to Katherine was spending time with her grandsons and grand dog.

Katherine will be missed by her daughter, Tammy (Eric) Warnell of Fairfield; two grandsons, Andrew and Bradley Warnell; her mother, Alice Zuck; siblings, Lou (Lynn) Zuck, Tammy (Bob) Zeien and Jim (Lisa) Zuck; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry.
