Jo Ann Justmann

Jo Justmann, age 62, of Fairfield, IA passed away at the Living Care Center-Jefferson County Hospital Thursday morning, January 25, 2007.

Funeral services were held 10:30 AM, Monday, January 29, 2007 at The First United Methodist Church in Fairfield. Rev. Dave Peterson and Rev. Mike Metz officiated.

Jo Ann Justmann was born October 7, 1944 in Newton, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Jane (Cobbs) Clevenger. She was united in marriage with Herb Justmann in Monroe, Iowa on June 6, 1965.

Jo graduated from Monroe High School and Parsons College. She completed her Master's degree at Marycrest College. Jo was a dedicated teacher in the Fairfield Community School District for 33 years. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, traveling and reading.

Jo is survived by her husband, Herb, of Fairfield, two sons and their families: Jay Justmann and his wife Dawn of Overland Park, KS, and Cary Justmann and his wife Lara of Ankeny, IA. Jo was grandmother to Taylor, Jessica, and Hannah. Survivors include her brother and sister, Dr. Philip Clevenger and Barbara DeHaai, both of Newton, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
