Emma Mae Hill

April 6, 1925 — September 18, 2020

Emma Mae Hill age 95 of Fairfield passed away Friday, September 18, 2020, at Jefferson County Health Center.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Al Coffin officiating.

Emma was born April 6, 1925, to Harley and Della (Nugen) Giberson in Stockport, Iowa. Emma married Jack Fidler on March 28, 1948, and he passed away June 4, 1977, she then married Glenn U. Hill on September 9, 2000, and he passed away September 25, 2018.

Emma was a homemaker but worked at the Iowa Army Ammunitions plant in Middletown and later for Mutual of Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.  She collected unicorn statues, enjoyed sewing, and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, but what she cherished most was spending time with her family and friends.

Emma is survived by her son, Ricky Fidler; her grandchildren, Robin Davidson-Felz, Paul Fidler, and Shawn Rauscher; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Bella; her husband’s Jack Fidler and Glenn U. Hill; two sons, Rodney Fidler and Ryan Rauscher; daughter Cheryl Fidler; great grandson, Tyler Fidler; nephew, Lonny Giberson; and siblings, Isabelle Linborn, Maxine McManus, Frank “Bud” Giberson, Guy Giberson, and Billy Giberson.
