Carol Rae Branstetter

Carol Rae Branstetter age 77 of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Keosauqua Health Care Center.

No services are planned at this time.   Memorials may be made to Noah’s Arc and mailed to Sheryl Pilkington, 2254 Business 34, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Carol was born January 2, 1944, to Paul Ival and Georgia Vera (Miles) Hagans.  She married Jim Branstetter.

Carol worked as a bartender.  She loved all animals, especially horses and Doberman dogs.  Carol enjoyed sitting outside watching the birds.  Her inside interest was sewing.

Carol will be missed by her two siblings, Richard Hagans and Patty Heckethorn; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Georgia; husband, Jim; siblings, Barbara Sell, Maxine Holmes, Violet Scotton, Bud Hagans “Harold”, Jack Hagans and Shirley Wolverton.
