William Dane Corry (Bill) of Birmingham, Iowa passed away at his home surrounded by family on June 30, 2019.
He was born on October 8, 1936, the son of Richard D. Corry Sr. and Wilda E (Harness) Corry. On June 10, 1956 he married Donna June Bishop at the Presbyterian Church in Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife Donna; two sons, Randy Corry of Mc Cook Lake, South Dakota, Roger Corry (Anita) of Birmingham, a daughter Brenda Biggs (Bruce) of Mt. Pleasant, IA; two grandchildren, Brianne Bartholomew (Spencer) of Keosauqua and Cody Corry of Birmingham; two great granddaughters, Keegan Bartholomew and Kinzley Bartholomew of Keosauqua; a brother Richard D. Jr (Donna R.) of Birmingham.
He was preceded by his grandparents, parents and brother Douglas Corry.
He loved spending time with his family, watching Cardinals baseball, was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan, enjoyed farming and taking care of his Angus Cattle. Bill was a charter member of the Birmingham Lions and a volunteer on the Birmingham Fire Department for 62 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
