William Warren Leathers Jr

William Warren Leathers Jr. age 63 of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

Per his wishes the body has been cremated.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Four Square Church with Pastor Jim Cecil officiating.

William was born December 29, 1951 to William Warren and Donna Lee (Lenhart) Leathers Sr.

William was a lifelong resident of Fairfield. He worked at Rockwell International as a machinist. Some of Williams’s hobbies or interests were: fishing, reading, gardening, hunting, collecting guns, anything outdoors, and most of all spending time with family and friends. He attended Four Square Church.

William is survived by his 3 children, Bethany Leathers Frattarelli of Phoenix, AZ, Matt (Denisse) Leathers of Fairfield, IA and James (Anna) Leathers of Hedrick, IA; 8 grandchildren; his mother Donna Leathers of Fairfield, IA; and two brothers, Dave Leathers of Richland, IA and Jerry (Nancy) Leathers of Stockport, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Warren Leathers Sr.
