William Edward Bryant Jr

William Edward Bryant Jr. age 76 of Fairfield, passed away August 19, 2017, in Knoxville, Iowa.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at Behner Funeral Home.

According to his wishes his body was cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Cards and memorials can be sent to: William Bryant 2514, Glasgow Road, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

William Edward Bryant Jr. was born July 28, 1941, in Ottumwa, Iowa to William Edward and Marion Louise (Stewart) Bryant. He married Anola Irene Saner on March 20, 1965, in Ottumwa, Iowa. She died on October 6, 2009.

William graduated from Ottumwa High School. He was a molder for Dexter company for 22 years.

William’s interest include: collecting coins, gardening, running, coaching baseball, exploring trails in Fairfield, bowling, playing cards and traveling, most of all spending time with family and friends.

William is survived by his children, William (Lidia) Bryant of Fairfield, Cynthia (Jeff) Coomer of Knoxville, IA, Brenda Bryant of Sterling, IL., and Howard (Shannon) Bryant of Grant, MN; 11 grandchildren, Megan Gerjets, Clark Bryant, Robert Lopez, William Bryant, Jamie Hunt, Haley Janssen, Ethan Janssen, Peter Bryant, Howie Bryant Jr., Patrick Bryant and Makenna Janssen; and one great granddaughter, Kaelyn Clark.

William was preceded by: his parents, and his wife.
