Vivian Joyce Clark

Vivian Joyce Clark, age 76 of Batavia, IA, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

Per her request she has been cremated.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, August 5, 2016 at Behner Funeral Home. Private burial will be at a later date.

Vivian was born November 18, 1939 to John and Nelda (Brandt) Batterson. She married Ralph Clark on May 16, 1955.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, canning, spending time with her grandchildren, visiting with friends and family, and her dogs.

Vivian is survived by nine children, Wayne Clark of Isle, MN, Carl Clark of Colorado Springs, CO, Steve (Teresa) Clark of Las Vegas, NV, Virginia Johnson of Keosauqua, IA, Dale (Denise) Clark of Birmingham, IA, Robert Clark of Ottumwa, IA, Lisa Copeland of Ollie, IA, Sherri Ellis of Fairfield, IA, and Michael Clark of Batavia, IA; one brother, Larry Batterson (Linda Cunningham); twenty-one grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; two great-granddaughters; her parents, John and Nelda Batterson; and an infant brother.
