Thomas "Tom" Gerald Tedrow

Thomas “Tom” Gerald Tedrow age 96 of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Keosauqua Health Care Center.

Graveside memorial service with military honors will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Winchester Cemetery, near Birmingham with Charles Tedrow officiating.

In–lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sail of Hope, Chesterfield, MO.  Cards and memorials may be mailed to 650 Pasadena Ave., St. Clair, MO 63077.

Tom was born February 14, 1922, to Milo and Emma (Parsons) Tedrow in Birmingham.  He married Frances Marie Gates on March 9, 1950, in Keosauqua.  They celebrated 51 years of marriage before she passed away October 14, 2001.

Tom graduated from Birmingham High School Class 1940.   He served as a sergeant in the Air Force during WW II.  After serving in the Air Force he came back and farmed all his life in the Birmingham area.

Left to share Tom’s memories are his two children, Charlene Tedrow of Ft. Worth, TX and Charles (Joan) Tedrow of St. Clair, MO; 4 grandchildren, Chad Tedrow, Tiffany (Josh) Wright, Kimberly Grooms and Thomas Grooms; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milo and Emma; wife, Frances Tedrow; two sisters, Bessy and Gladys; and grandson, Colour Grooms.
