Susan P. Fritts

            Susan P. Fritts, 77, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at Prestige Care Center in Fairfield.

            A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024 at New Life Community Church in Fairfield. Private burial will be at Glasgow Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Glasgow Cemetery. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family.

            Susan was born October 26, 1946 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Pauline (Cochran) Wolfe. She married Ron Shy in 1967. They later divorced. She married John Fritts in 1991. He preceded her in death in 2012.

            Throughout her life, Susan worked for Martin Pharmacy, Lefty’s Real Estate, and Danielson Motors in Fairfield. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and flowers.

            Those left to honor her memory include her son, Corbin (Becky) Shy of Fairfield; granddaughter, Cassy Jo Shy; and sister, Nadine Garbett of Geneseo, Illinois.

            In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her parents.
