Rosemary Jeanette Terrell

Rosemary Jeanette Terrell, age 77 of Keosauqua, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Keosauqua-Van Buren Good Samaritan Center.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Linn Garrison officiating. Her body has been cremated. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.

Rosemary was born on March 25, 1935 in Fairfield to Elmer and Gleda Bradfield Hixson. She married Timothy John Terrell II on July 10, 1955 in Packwood.

She was in nursing for 42 years and retired from Dexter Co. in 1997. She was a member of Easter Star in Batavia and Packwood and also of the UMW in Lebanon.

Rosemary is survived by her husband: Tim Terrell II of Keosauqua, 5 children: Becky (Brian Poole) Terrell of Birmingham, Pamela Terrell of Des Moines, Tim (Keeta) Terrell III of Fairfield, Dan (Evie) Terrell of Warsaw, Illinois and Mary Ann Smith of Unionville, Missouri, 26 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 siblings: Bill (Judy) Hixson of Ottumwa and Sue (Mike) Vannoy of Keosauqua and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Gleda Hixson.
