Ronald LeRoy Rambo

Ronald “Ron” LeRoy Rambo, age 65, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Parkview Care Center.

There will be a memorial graveside service 10:00 am, Friday, June 15, 2018, at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Jason Crandle officiating.

Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to 107 Washington Street, Libertyville, IA 52567.

Ron was born October 17, 1952, to David and Rose Mary (Hootman) Rambo.

Ron lived in the Fairfield area all his life and worked at various self-employed jobs over the years. He was a past member of the Eagles Lodge and member of First Christian Church (Disciple of Christ).  Some of Ron’s interests were fishing, watching rodeos, listening to country music, reading, watching westerns on tv and collected hats.

Left to share Ron’s memories are his 3 children, Stacie, Rhonda and Teri; some grandchildren; his mother, Rose Mary; and 5 siblings, David (Marie) Rambo, Connie (Kenny Ray) Simons, Colleen Rambo, Edna Rambo and Rose Fritts all of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his father, David; one brother, Jerome; and one nephew Mike Rambo.
