Roenna Fern Pool

Roenna Fern Pool age 73 of Fairfield, passed away June 9, 2023, at Jefferson County Health Center.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Roenna was born February 7, 1950, to Raymond Joseph and Martha Etta (Lankford) Vogt. She married Randall “Randy” Kent Pool on October 3, 1969. They celebrated 51 years of marriage before Randy passed away January 7, 2021.

Roenna lived most of her life in Fairfield.  She was a homemaker, worked at Sunshine Laundromat, and was a custodian at Fairfield High School.

Roenna was thoughtful and loved taking care of her family and her beautiful flower gardens. She regularly fed the birds and squirrels, and stray cats in the neighborhood never went hungry.  She liked collecting pink flamingos.  Some of her other interests were doing circle word puzzles, reading, mystery drama shows, baking, and flamingos.

Roenna will be missed by her children, Gina Marie (Austin) Miller and Gretchen Marne (John) Rusk Jr.; her grandchildren, Cody (Katy) Pool, Cassie Shy, Teya Ebert and Rhiannon Ebert; great grandson, Lucas Randall Pool; and her two sisters and a brother.

Roenna was preceded by her parents, Raymond and Martha; husband, Randy; and two brothers and a sister.
