Robert Earl Brady

Robert Earl Brady age 74, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018, at his home.

Open visitation with family present will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Behner Funeral Home.

Robert was born April 28, 1944, in Keosauqua to Melvin and Lillie (Scotton) Brady.  He married Sheryl Simmons on November 19, 1976, in Fairfield.

Robert worked for the Fairfield High School as custodian and Kennedy Car Wash.  He liked working on cars, mowing and watching drag racing.  Most important to Robert was spending time with his grandchildren.

Left to share Robert’s memories are his wife, Sheryl Brady; his children, Kelly (Jaime) Lopez of Iowa City, Samantha (Mark) Williams of Fairfield, Tina Wedel of Oklahoma and Terry Brady of Cedar Rapids; 3 grandchildren, Michael Ennen, Alexandria Ennen and Abigail Brush; 4 siblings, Richard Harvey of Cedar Rapids, Dennis Dye of Springfield, MO, Pat Hennemberry of Paris, MO and Roy Brady of South Haven, MS; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Shirley Simmons; and infant brother.
