Richard Thomas Meixner, Sr

Richard T. Meixner, Sr, age 68, of Fairfield, passed away at his home Thursday, January 24, 2008. The body will be cremated

A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with a visitation preceding the service beginning at 9:30 AM. Inurnment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Richard Meixner family in lieu of flowers.

Richard Thomas Meixner, Sr., was born in DeForest, WI on February 17, 1939 to Emil and Anna (Mueller) Meixner. He was a member of the Fairfield community for the past 29 years and was previously employed at FALCO.

He is survived by his children and their families: Richard Meixner, Jr. of Fox Lake, WI, and James Meixner and wife Amber of Birmingham, IA. Richard was blessed with three grandchildren: Joelyn, Melissa, and Madison. Survivors include two sisters and one brother: Phyllis Meixner and Kathryn (Don) Rowe of DeForest, WI, and Donnie Meixner of Racine, WI.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers: Ruth Perry, Helen Millard, Albert, Ray, Eddie, and Bill Meixner.
