Rebecca "Becky" Elaine Campbell

Rebecca “Becky” Elaine Campbell, age 62 of Fairfield, passed away, Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Van Buren County Health Center.

There will be a private graveside service at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Caughron officiating.

Becky was born September 7, 1955, to Amos H. and Jean E. (Casprot) McCurry in Dayton, Ohio. She married Thomas “Tom” Ray Campbell December 30, 1990.

Becky has lived in the Fairfield area since 2003. She was a homemaker and child care provider. Becky was a people person. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, dancing, collected chickens and listening to music. Becky loved spending time with family, friends and her dog, Roxie.

Left to share Becky’s memory is her husband, Tom Campbell of Fairfield, IA; her children, Brian Holbrook of Dayton, OH, Traci Wiegand of Bloomfield, IA, Joe Closser of Memphis, MO, Bobby and Tim Closser both of Bloomfield, IA, Angela Montano of Fairfield, IA, Shawna Tyler of Lancaster, MO and Patrick Campbell of Fairfield, IA; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and her siblings, James McCurry of Finley, OH, Marcia Jones of Dayton, OH and Nancy Sampsel of Wooster, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Jean McCurry; and two brothers, Ted and Phillip McCurry.
