Phyllis Irene Klett

Phyllis Irene Klett age 80 of Burlington, passed away, Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at her home.

Visitation for family & friends will be 9:00 am – 10:30 am, Friday, September 15, 2017, prior to the funeral service at 10:30 am at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Richland, IA.

Family and friends are invited to the Best Western for food and fellowship from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Phyllis was born March 13, 1937, in Keota, IA to Luther and Marie (McConnell) Reighard. She married Ron Klett on July 31, 1954, in Keokuk, IA.

Phyllis has lived in Burlington for the last 20 years. Prior to moving to Burlington, she lived in Fairfield. Phyllis liked to play computer games and get on facebook. She collected angels, enjoyed gardening, hummingbirds and listening to country music. Most important to Phyllis was her dog, Bindi and spending time with family & friends.

Left to share Phyllis’s memory are her children, Terry (Kathy) Klett of Fairfield, IA, Rick (Penny) Klett of Hannibal, MO, Brenda (Ron) Reynolds and Christy Robinson both of Burlington, IA, and Gary (Jamie) Klett of Fairfield, IA; 18 grandchildren, Amie Cook, Jenny McEntee, Jason Klett, Billie Frick, Eric Reynolds, Brittany Reynolds, Amanda Kane, Aaron Klett, Jesse Klett, Talli Klett, Monica Stoltz, Shanika Klett, Charlie Klett, Ronnie Reynolds, Carol Spann, Anthony Robinson, Dustin Robinson and Jimmy Robinson; and 28 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Marie Reighard; one sister, Donna Simons; one brother, Ronnie Reighard; and one son, Chuck Klett.
