Paul Vernon Wiley

Paul Vernon Wiley, age 90 of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017.

Visitation for family & friends will be 10:00 to 11:00a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Behner Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Paul was born October 28, 1926 in Winfield, IA to Paul Bennett and Martha Laura (Dillavou) Wiley. He married Loris Eleanor Davis on May 11, 1947 at Spring Run Church, Columbus Junction, IA. This year they would have celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Paul served in the Army during WWII era stationed in Italy. Until he retired he worked at Agri Industrial Plastics, American Chain & Cable and drove cars for Danielson Motors. Paul would play the guitar and Loris would accompany him on the piano, organ or accordion. He attended the Free Methodist Church.

Paul is survived by his wife, Loris Wiley of Fairfield, IA; 3 children, Loretta Eckwall of Fairfield, IA, Cecil (Chris) Wiley of Sarasota, FL and Priscilla (Don) Schulthess of Sheridan, WY; 5 grandchildren, Terry Eckwall of Fairfield, IA, Chris Barnes of Libertyville, IA, Tony Barnes of Montezuma, IA, Megan Jones of Tennessee and Kyle Wiley of Tennessee; 6 great grandchildren; and one sister, Lorine Frame of Winfield, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Martha Wiley; and twin great grandsons.
