Patricia Ann Warnell

Patricia Ann Warnell, 77, a resident of Fairfield, formerly of Conrad, Iowa, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Harvest Acres Nursing and Rehab in Keota, Iowa.

A service celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family.

Pattie was born September 29, 1947 in Tama, Iowa, the daughter of Olin and Grace (Tressic) Dodge. She was a graduate of Marshalltown High School. Pattie married Paul “Buck” Warnell in 1964. They later divorced but remained friends.

Pattie worked at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and had a strong faith in God.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, David Warnell of Holdrege, Nebraska, Robert (Leigh) Warnell of Muskego, Wisconsin, Melanie (Mike) Campbell of Freeland, Michigan and Eric (Tammy) Warnell of Fairfield, Iowa; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren (with one on the way); sister, Deborah Fuerman of Ankeny; and her brother, Terry Mills of Marshalltown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steven Dodge; and former husband, Paul “Buck” Warnell.
