Michael J. Jones

Michael J. Jones age 53 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 in his home.

Michael will be cremated with a burial to be held at a later date at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa, IA.

Visitation with family present will be 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Behner Funeral Home.

Michael was born March 2, 1964 to Jack and Juanita (Mairet) Jones at Jefferson County Hospital.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, his cat, Bella and drag racing.

Left behind to remember Michael are his daughter, Abbie and son, Nathan both of Fairfield; his mother, Juanita of Ottumwa; one sister, Angela (Chip Bruntlett) Jones of Knoxville; one nephew, Spencer Myers of Missouri Valley, IA and his best friend, Wayne (Patty) Carder of Agency, IA.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Jack Jones; and one infant brother, Jack.
