Marylin Darleen Shelledy, 86, of Salem, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Park Place Elder Care in Mt. Pleasant.

     Burial will be at Spencer Cemetery in Stockport, and per her wishes, no services are being held. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family.

     Marylin was born September 8, 1939 in Van Buren County, Iowa, the daughter of George and Velma (Runyon) Giberson. She married Carey Shelledy, August 2, 1958 in Trenton, Iowa. He preceded her in death, December 20, 2014.

     Marylin worked at Goodyear in Mt. Pleasant.

     Those left to honor her memory include her siblings, Rama (Pat) Dorothy, Dwynlin "Bud" (Minette) Giberson, Kay (Gerald) Bailey; and brother-in-law, Kevin Shelledy.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Venita Shelledy; 2 brothers: Dwane and Dwight Giberson, and 2 sisters: Coleen Cochran and Karen Ham.
