Mary "Maxine" Langner

Mary Maxine Langner, age 93, passed away February 4, 2014 at Jefferson County Health Center, Fairfield, IA.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, February 14, 2014 at First Lutheran Church, Fairfield, IA with Stacy Grau officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Behner Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the First Lutheran Church, Faith United Methodist Church, Libertyville, IA or Donor's choice. Memorials and cards can be sent to 611 W Harrison, Fairfield, IA 52556

Maxine was born November 26, 1920 to Roll and Irma (Fleener) Stansberry. She married Taylor O Langner in Moberly, MO August 8, 1941. He passed away June 29, 1968.

Maxine graduated from Libertyville. She worked at the Burlington Ammunition Plant in Middletown, IA, Inez's Fashion and a cook for the Fairfield School District for 28 years. Maxine was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She liked to play cards, do word search books and cooking and baking.

Survivors include a son: Jerry Langner of Fairfield, IA, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 daughter: Mary Ann Langner at infancy and 1 brother: Max E. Stansberry.
