Mary K. Barr

Mary K. Barr, age 56 of Fairfield, passed away November 16, 2017, at Jefferson County Health Center.

Private Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Palo Alto Cemetery in Newton, Iowa.

Mary was born February 27, 1961 to Luthur and Audrey (Parker) Barr.

Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, camping, plastic canvasing, cats, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Mary is survived by 3 sons, William Box of Batavia, Steven Box of Texas and Eric (Crystal) Box of Davenport; one daughter, Amber (Darrel) Dunlap of Texas; nieces and nephews; two half- sisters, Sandy Grey, Terry Simmons; and half-brother Joe Parker.

Mary was preceded by her parents; half-siblings, Loretta Crowder, Frank Onder, Carl Barr, and one grandchild, Tasha Box.
