Marjorie McKee

Marjorie McKee age 93, of Fairfield passed away March 30, 2014 at Sunnybrook Living Care Center in Fairfield, Iowa.

Per her wishes, she has been cremated and a private interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, Iowa.

Mrs. McKee was born on October 16, 1920 in Fairfield, Iowa the daughter of John F. Vannatta and Lula M. “Sanders” Vannatta. Marjorie married Donald G. McKee October 1, 1949. He passed away March 25, 1967.

Mrs. McKee worked for the state and county for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, hospital auxiliary and VFW. She was a volunteer for Life Line, Bargain Box, Hospital Bingo and Senior Citizen Board.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and four sisters.
