Marie L. Bennett

Marie L. Bennett, age 86 of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Parkview Care Center.

Per her wishes she has been cremated and there will be a private graveside memorial service at Richland Friends Cemetery, Richland, Iowa.

Marie was born November 15, 1928 in Fairfield to Glen and Clara (Byer) Wilson. She married R. Keith Bennett August 27, 1948 at 1st Lutheran Church. He passed away November 22, 2002.

Marie worked at Universal Producing and Iowa Liquor Store. Some of her interest and hobbies were; crocheting, piece quilting and watching TV (Late Night Show).

Marie is survived by her son, Rick (Cindy) Bennett of Batavia, IA; two grandchildren, Tory (Christine) Bennett and Wendi (Jess) Manley; 5 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and one sister, Evelyn Robertson of Sanbornville, NH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Clara Wilson; her husband, R. Keith Bennett; and two brothers, Keith and Donald Wilson.
