Lynda Lou Good-Baker

Lynda Lou Good-Baker age 82 passed away December 9th, 2020,

Lynda was born in Ottumwa Iowa to Phillip Jason Pentzer and Libbie Loreene (Soots) Pentzer-Onthank.  She grew up mainly in Pierre South Dakota.  Lynda married Robert E. Good in 1958 in Marshalltown Iowa.  They had four children, Brad Good of Linnus Mo., Pam Good of Lockridge IA, Lecia Simons (deceased) of Libertyville IA, and Debra Schubert of Casper Wy.  Lynda and Robert divorced in 1978 and Lynda remarried to Lee Benz Baker (deceased 1996) in 1979.  Lynda worked as an EMT prior to graduating from Blair College of nursing in Colorado Springs and worked most of her life as a Nurse and would later work as a CNA for Parkview care center in Fairfield. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.  Going to church doing compassionate services was one of Lynda’s most enjoyable experiences of her life.  She collected elephants from all over the world and enjoyed gardening, sewing, visiting with friends and family, and spreading love to all her family members.   Lynda had eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was a life member of the veterans of foreign wars.  She had a love for animals and provided a good home to several animals throughout her life.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter and one grand-son.

A service was already held.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Associations.
