Lon Huffman, age 56, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at his home in Birmingham, Iowa.
His body will be cremated and no services are planned.
Lon was born May 29, 1955 in Oakland Mills to Edward and Margaret Jennings Huffman.
He grew up in Fairfield and farmed with his grandfather.
Lon is survived by 2 children: Travis (Tammy) Huffman and Luke Huffman, both of Florida, 3 grandchildren: Robert Huffman, Genesis Huffman and Jesse Tyra and 5 siblings: Connie (Chris) Vagtborg of St. Simons Island, Ga., Lorie (Danny) Stevens of Casa Grande, Az., Sandy (Jerry) Lathrop of Swisher, Ia., Rhonda (Greg) Kurtz of Chino Valley, Az. and Donna (Adam) Zendejas of Phoenix, Az.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents: Elmer and Zella Jennings and Calvin and Erma Huffman.
