Lindsey Dawn (Conger) Shields, age 36, of Hedrick passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

Visitation for family & friends will be 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Lake Belva Deer Shelter #3, Sigourney, IA. A memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Lake Belva Deer Shelter #3 with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Follow the service there will be a luncheon at Prairie View United Methodist Church.

Lindsey was born March 14, 1981 to Dale Leroy and Kathryn Lee (Crissey) Conger. She married Ryan James Shields February 24, 2017.

Lindsey enjoyed gardening, shopping, decorating and most of all spending time with family & friends. She lived in Keokuk County all her life.

She is survived by her husband, Ryan Shields; her 3 children, Lathan Michael Hamm of Ottumwa, IA, Jenna Marie Follman of Sigourney, IA and Jase James York of Hedrick, IA; her parents, Dale (Kathy Pearce Reid) Conger of Martinsburg, IA and Kathryn (Brian Ingle) Conger of Hedrick, IA; one brother, Jeremiah Conger of Ollie, IA; one sister, Lily Conger of Martinsburg, IA; four step brothers & sisters, Jackie and Colton Ingle of Fairfield, IA, Allison Pearce of Kentucky, and Jordan Reid of South Carolina; her grandparents, Sharon Crissey of Ottumwa, IA and Harlan (Lamay) Crissey of Volin, SD; and many friends & family.
