Linda Kay Garrison

Linda Kay Garrison age 73 of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Jefferson County Health Center.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Alvin Garrison, 2554 Glasgow Road, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Linda was born December 24, 1946, to Jack and Bernice (Miller) Dill in Roswell, New Mexico.   Linda married Alvin Eugene Garrison on March 6, 1970.  This year they celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Linda was the treasurer for Garrison Construction.  She collected Indian dolls, and grew cactuses. Linda would listen to audio books with murder mysteries by Stephen King being her favorite.  She was also a huge animal lover.

She will be missed by her husband, Alvin of Fairfield; two sons, David Garrison and Arthur (Christina) Garrison both of Fairfield; 4 grandchildren, Brandon (April) Garrison, Amber (Colton Wojnowski) Garrison, Danielle (Noah) Jones and Justin Garrison; one great granddaughter, Aeralyn Jones; and her sister, Doris Ritz of Fairfield.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Bernice; and one sister, Jackie Heckathorn; and daughter-in-law, Roberta Joan Garrison.
