Leo Barber

Leo Barber, age 86, of Keosauqua, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at Good Samaritan in Keosauqua.

There will be no services at this time.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society and sent to Crystal Barber P.O. Box 176 Keosauqua, Iowa 52565.

Leo was born on December 4, 1924 in Fairfield, to Robert and Eva Reed Barber. He married Crystal Crawford on December 4, 1965 in Moline, Illinois.

Leo worked as a glazier for Galesburg Glass Co. in Galesburg, Illinois for 40 years and was a member of Union Local #581 in Rock Island, Illinois. He also served in WWII with the U.S. Army.

Leo is survived by his wife: Crystal, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and little dog: Muffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: John and Robert Barber and 5 sisters: Ilah Thomas, Shirley Bradley, Beverly Winters and Evelyn and Zeldra Barber.
