Laura "Orv" Lea Starr, age 50, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at her home in Richland, IA.

Per her wishes the body has been cremated.

There will be a visitation for family and friends, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Behner Funeral Home.

Laura was born August 1, 1964 parents are: Jack and Patricia (McGuire) Whitten in Fairfield, Iowa. She married Randall Starr August 27, 1983 at St Mary Catholic Church.

Laura graduated from Fairfield High School in 1982. She worked at Jefferson County Hospital for several years. She enjoyed her flowers, nick-knack’s stuffed bears and time spent with the kids and loved playing with the grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Starr; two sons, Travis (Reesa) Starr of Fairfield, IA and Taylor (Amber) Starr of Oskaloosa, IA; two grandchildren, Axl and Corbin Starr; her parents, Jack and Patricia Whitten of Fairfield, IA; one sister, Lynn (Dan)Kane of Fairfield; and one brother, Tim Whitten of Burlington, IA.
