Kristine Kay Winter, age 44, passed away on June 19, 2006. Her body has been cremated.

Friends may sign a book of condolence 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorial services were held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the Free Methodist Church in Fairfield. Rev. Jim McGaffey officiated.

Kristine was born in Fairfield on April 30, 1962. She was the daughter of William and Nadine R. (Wingaard) Winter. Kristine was a lifelong resident of Fairfield, where she was employed as a supervisor at Rescare.

Kristine is survived by her children: Shea William Winter Barber, Alexander Elijah Lee Winter and Samuel Jason Zane Brobston, all of Fairfield, IA. She had a special fondness for Aaron, Alex and Amy Brobston. Survivors include three brothers and one sister: Kevin Baker of the Philippines, Kendall Baker of Edmond, OK, John Winter of the North Pole, AK, and Kathleen Peiffer of Fairfield, IA, and a niece Rachel Spath.
