Keith Gale Bagby

Keith Gale Bagby of Fairfield, died January 18, 2018.

No service is planned at this time. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery. He chose to donate his body to the Carver College of Medicine at the University for scientific research.

Memorials can be made to the Fairfield First United Methodist Church.

Keith was born in Jefferson County, the son of Frank and Georgia Bagby Sr. on May 2, 1935. He married Mary Ramsey in 1958 in Birmingham.

Keith joined the 34th Division of Army National Guard in 1953 and served for 8 years. He worked early at Teeter Cleaners, Skelgas and the last 35 years at Fairfield Lumber. Keith was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Elks Lodge. He was an excellent photographer and loved going to Colorado and would come back with some beautiful pictures. Keith also enjoyed doing wood working.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mary Ann; 3 grandsons, Brandon, Brett and Bryce Frantz; and a great granddaughter, Eveie Frantz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Georgia; one sister, Myrna Corry; and one brother, Frank Bagby Jr.
