Kaitlyn Marie Mineart, age 26, of Fairfield passed away September 11, 2019, at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, Iowa.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:00 to 10:30 Friday, September 20, 2019, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 with Father Nick Adam officiating. Burial will follow at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been setup for Kaitlyn’s children. Cards and memorials can be sent to the Mineart Family, 2044 227th St., Fairfield, IA. 52556.
Kaitlyn was born September 30, 1992, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Johnny and Laura (Deutsch) Mineart.
Kaitlyn grew up in Fairfield, attended Fairfield High School and Des Moines Area Community College. She held various jobs while concentrating on housekeeping and her children.
Kaitlyn was very athletic playing softball, running track, enjoyed bicycling, visiting and hiking in Colorado.
She especially enjoyed shopping, collecting makeup, boating and being around the water, mushroom hunting, collecting arrowheads, inspiring laughter, going on adventures with her sister and best friend Madison. The highlight of her life was spending time with Zaeden, Zella, and her Family.
Kaitlyn will be missed by her children, Zaeden John Watsey, and Zella Marie Drish; her parents, Johnny and Laura Mineart of Fairfield; siblings, Jake Mineart (fiancé Codi Stick) of Davenport, and Madison Mineart of Fairfield; grandparents, Jim Deutsch and Barb Hammes, Gary and Crystal Reneker; aunts and uncles, Jamie and Rob Keller, Amanda Deutsch (Nick Ward), Jason Essary, Randy and Melodee Staton, Tiffany Reneker and great-aunt Pam Deutsch (Rick Carlson); many cousins, Dagen Essary, Riley, Brook, Avery Keller, Brendan and Jamie Miller, Austin and Jordan Staton and Emma Sanner; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Kaitlyn was preceded by Grandmother, Roxie Deutsch; Grandfather, John “Pops” Mineart; Aunt Amy Essary; cousin, Haley Essary; and her adored great-grandmother, Millie Marie Creek.
