Juanita Belle Jennings

Juanita Belle Jennings, age 89, formally of Fairfield, passed away, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at The Kensington in Fort Madison, IA.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Monday, March 16, 2015 at Behner Funeral Home prior to the service.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Monday, March 16, 2015 at Behner Funeral Home with Dane Carr officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

Juanita was born May 3, 1925 to Collins and Florence (Kelly) Manning in Fairfield, IA. She married Arnold Jennings February 1, 1953 in Fairfield. He passed away October 10, 2001.

Juanita lived most of her life in the Jefferson and Wapello counties. Juanita attended the First Christian Church. Some of her hobbies were crafts, cards, music and gardening. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patti Carr of Fort Madison, IA and Sherry Covington of Kansas City, MO; 3 grandchildren, Lindsey Dane and Lisa; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Joan Wingate of Ottumwa, IA and Dorothy Parr of CA.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Collins and Florence Manning; husband, Arnold Jennings; one sister, Mildred Manary; four brothers, Elmer, Dean, Kenneth and Richard Manning.
