He went on to Indian Hills Community College where he continued in choir and drama. He worked as a process technician at Ajinomoto in Eddyville, Iowa for two years. Joshua enjoyed camping and boating at Lake Rathbun and spending time with family and friends. His favorite way to spend a day was wakeboarding on the lake. He was a faithful blood and platelet donor, he believed in saving lives.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Tracy and John Mullikin (Batavia, IA), his father, Alfredo Ramos II (San Salvador, El Salvador); his siblings Joel (Kiera) Ramos, Jonathan Ramos (Ottumwa, IA), Matthew Mullikin (Agency, IA), and Anna Mullikin (Batavia, IA); grandparents Fred and Delores Carlo (Ottumwa, IA), Teresa (Juan) Martinez (San Salvador, El Salvador), John and Linda Mullikin (Batavia, IA); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and family who dearly loved him.

Joshua had a wonderful way of making everyone he met feel known and important. He lit up a room when he walked in and spread joy wherever he went. He leaves behind family and friends to cherish his memory; remembering the great times and bad jokes, all for a laugh. He was a beautiful shining soul.
