John Keith Liljedahl

John Keith Liljedahl went to meet our Lord and Savior on August 8, 2018.  He just turned 69 on August 4, 2018.

Per John’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

He was born in Ottumwa to Harold and Alberta (Hill) Liljedahl.  He married Susan Saladion on July 20, 1991.

John graduated from Parsons College Class of 1973.  He worked at the University of Iowa research and cancer department and Tulane University of New Orleans in the Animal Science & research for cancer department.  John enjoyed fishing and having a good BBQ.  He will be missed by those who called him husband, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Left to share John’s memories are his wife, Susan Liljedahl of Fairfield; his parents Harold and Alberta Liljedahl of Fairfield; one sister, Anne (Don) Godwin of Fairfield; nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews; and a close friend, Kent Metz.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
