Jerry Wayne Hendricks

Jerry Wayne Hendricks, age 74 of Fairfield, passed away, October 8, 2015 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Per his wishes the body has been cremated.

There will be a visitation for family and friends 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Jerry was born August 13, 1941 in Fairfield to Donald and Louise (Conover) Hendricks. He married Linda Billingsley in Fairfield, IA.

Jerry served in the Army National Guard. He was co-owner of “Jerry & Bills Firestone” for many years in Washington and later started his own business “Hendricks Sound” where he was an electrician & sound technician. Jerry enjoyed golfing, fishing and going to Branson. He was a member of the Eagles, American Legion and past Masonic Lodge member. In 2015 he was inducted to Clinton County Fair Hall of Fame. Jerry attended the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda Hendricks of Fairfield, IA; two sons, Kevin (Gayle) Hendricks of Keota, IA and Roger (Michele) Hendricks of Birmingham, IA; two grandchildren, Allison Hendricks and Alex Keiser; one sister, Sandra (Bill) Orr of Washington, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Louise Hendricks.
