Jerald "Jerry" Calnon

Jerald “Jerry” Calnon age 65 of Fairfield passed away peacefully February 15, 2017 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Per his wishes no funeral is planned.

Jerry was born August 9, 1951 in Sheldon, IA to Fredrick and Faye (Shaner) Calnon.

Most recently he was employed as coordinator for both Jefferson County 911 and Emergency Managements until health forced his retirement. His favorite past time was doing things with 3 of his grandchildren, Chandler, Blake and Julian and going to their ball games and events.

He was a member of the Jefferson County Police Reserve and a Mason.

He is survived by his significant other of 21 years, Janet Ford; 3 sons, Daniel, Brian and Benjamin; two step daughters, Stephanie Humble and Lynn Carnes; and 13 grandchildren and step grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
