Jacquelynn Jeanne Waddell

Jacquelynn Jeanne Waddell age 78 of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, at her home.

Visitation for family & friends will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 18, 2018, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2143 South 32nd Street, Fairfield, Iowa.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, October 19, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Jason Titze officiating.  Following the service, she will be cremated.  Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Memorial Park, Davenport, IA.

Memorials may be made to the Lord’s Cupboard.  Cards and memorials may be mailed to 2900 West Adams Ave., Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Jacquelynn was born September 27, 1940, in Davenport, IA to Thomas and Virginia (Pine) Cutkomp.  She married Dr. Roger Waddell in 1967.

Jacquelynn was a wife, mother and homemaker.  She was an energetic, happy and kind person to everybody.  She loved singing, playing piano and directed the choir.  What meant the most to Jacquelynn was spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.  She will be missed by those who called her wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend.

Left to share Jacquelynn’s memories are her husband, Dr. Roger Waddell; 3 daughters, Joanna (Agustin) Garcia of Cedar Rapids, IA, Allyson (Brandon) Reynolds of Highland, UT and Elizabeth (Jason) Titze of Fairfield, IA; 12 grandchildren, A.J. Garcia, Olivia Garcia, Hannah Garcia, Suzanne Lee, Christopher Waddell, Joshua Waddell, Cameron Waddell, Kathleen Reynolds, William Reynolds, Elizabeth Reynolds, Rachael Reynolds and Andrew Titze; and one sister, Virginia Marshall of Lakeland, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christina Waddell; 4 brothers, Thomas, Richard, Warren and Kenneth; two sisters, Anita McLaughlin and Joyce Erwin.
