Ina Belle Henry

Ina Belle Henry age 87, of Fairfield passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Friday, March 14, 2014 prior to the service at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Cope officiating. Private burial will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St Louis, MO.

Ina Belle Henry was born December 25, 1926 to George A and Millie B. (Wood) Duncan in Little River, Kansas. She married Max E. Henry October 24, 1948. He passed away February 15, 1999.

For the past 8 years Ina lived in the Fairfield community with prior residence in St. Louis, Missouri and the Midwest. She was a homemaker and a mother. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. Ina enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals play. She enjoyed meeting people by volunteering at the Hospital Auxiliary. She belonged to the Solitaires and attended the Faith Baptist Church.

Ina is survived by 3 sons, Gary (Kathy) Henry of Fairfield, Iowa, Mark (Ellen) Henry of Overland Park, Kansas and Keith (Lesia) Henry of Shawnee, Kansas; 7 grandchildren, Kristy (Nathan) Combs, Chad Henry, Emily (Stephen) Glassner, Kent Henry, Meredith Henry, Meaghan Henry and Cameron Henry; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mildred Simmons of LaSalle, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 sisters: Dorothy Campbell-Clardy, Leola Coates, and Wilma Shirar; 1 granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Henry.
