Gifford E. Shanstrom, 81, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family and sent to 307 S. 29th St. Unit B, Fairfield, Iowa 52556. Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting the family.
