Gerald David "P.P." Pratt age 65 of Batavia went to be with his Lord on June 14, 2013 at his home.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday June 20, 2013 at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, IA with Pastor Dave Albert officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday June 19, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA.

Memorials can be made to the Heartland Humane Society. Cards and memorials can be sent to 2263 Birch Ave. Batavia, Ia. 52533.

Gerald David "P.P" Pratt was born in Batavia, IA to Porter W. and Mary E. Earls Pratt. He married Nancy Elizabeth Tucker on September 23, 1967 at the Gospel Light House Church in Batavia, IA.

Gerald graduated from Cardinal High School; he worked for Louden Company for some time, before working for John Deere for 30 years as a machinist. After retiring in 2002 his passion was running P.P.'s Gunshop in Batavia, IA. His hobbies and interests included: United Auto Workers Union and The National Rifle Association. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching New York Yankees baseball. He made sure to give each one of his grandchildren a nickname that he called them by. He was dearly loved by his family and friends.

Gerald is survived by his wife Nancy Pratt of Batavia, 4 daughters and families, Lisa (Aydro Sican) Pratt of Agency, IA., Lori Pratt of Ottumwa, IA., Christine (Mike) Snyder of Iroquois, S.D., Mary (Jesus Cortez) Pratt of Oskaloosa, IA., 11 Grandchildren Lindsay, Casey, Chance Gustafson, Lisseth and Zane Sican, Mallery and Amelia Cochran, Cameron and Shaley Snyder, Devin and Kristian Cortez, and 1 Great Grandchild Naomi. 1 brother and 1 sister: Manly Pratt of Floris, IA., and Joann Mills of Batavia, IA. Also, his ever faithful chocolate lab, Duke Ray Pratt.

Gerald was preceded in death by; his parents and 2 brothers: Glenn and Floyd Pratt.
