Fred Charles Moss

Fred Charles Moss, age 84 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Cremation has been accorded and no services are planned at this time.

Fred was born on August 30, 1935 in Passaic, New Jersey to Fred and Tillie (Klempa) Moss. He married Margaret Thompson in December 6, 1959. They were married 52 years before she passed away on November 4, 2012.

Fred served in the US Air Force from 1952-1963.  Before Fred retired, he was a tow truck driver for Dicks Auto Towing.

He will be missed by his son, Barry Moss of Fairfield; 4 granddaughters, Robin Leerhoff, Krystal May, Megan Casteel and Morgan Moss; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Doris Tietjen of Catskill, NY.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; his son: Douglas Moss; and his daughter, Carol Proulx.
