Eugene Homer Ports, Jr

Eugene Homer"Peter" Ports, Jr. of 507 W. Stone in Fairfield, Iowa died at his home on March 17, 2005. He was 69 years of age. The body was cremated.

Peter was born in Santa Monica, California on August 31, 1935 and he was the son of Eugene and Esther (Pierce) Ports. Peter was employed as a retail clerk at Ralph's for 15 years. He and his wife, Christine, moved to Fairfield in 1985.

Peter was the father of three children, Carl Richard, Nicole Margaret and Marietta Ann.

He is survived by his wife, Christine and their children, as well as a brother and a sister; George and Mary Ports, both of Los Angeles, California.
