Edwin. D. Wieber, age 89 of Fairfield, IA, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. His body will be cremated.
No local services are planned. Graveside inurnment will take place in Lidgerwood, ND.
Mr. Wieber was born July 9, 1920 in Lidgerwood, ND, the son of Robert and Effie (Newton-Stocker) Wieber. He was united in marriage with Elizabeth M. Johnson, who preceded him in death. He was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone.
Mr. Wieber is survived by his daughter, Victoria Lenihan of Missoula, MT, two grandchildren and friend Florence Day.
