Dorothy Bainbridge, age 83 of Fairfield, Iowa passed away January 2, 2014 at Parkview Care Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Dorothy Bainbridge was born September 3, 1930 in Galesburg, Illinois to Samuel Barber and Vernice Miller Barber. She married Robert Bainbridge of Fairfield, Iowa; he passed away May 31, 2005.

She worked as a secretary for the Fairfield Glass Co. for thirty years. She was a member of the VFW, Eagles, Elks Lodge and the Walton Club.

Dorothy is survived by her 3 children: Mickey "Mic" (Pam) Bainbridge of Birmingham, Tony Bainbridge of Eldon and Jimmy "Jim" Bainbridge of Fairfield, 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel Barber and Vernice Miller Barber, her husband: Robert Bainbridge and 1 Great-Granddaughter.
