Dennis Dorothy

Dennis Dorothy, age 58 of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Nelson officiating. Burial at Spencer Cemetery near Stockport, IA.

Dennis was born November 13, 1957 to Donnie and Margaret (Morris) Dorothy in Marshalltown, IA.

Dennis was an over the road truck driver. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, helping people, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his father, Donnie Dorothy, children, Michael (Tiffiany) Dorothy of Oskaloosa, IA, Matthew (Carla) Dorothy of Ankeny, IA, Mark and Mitchell Dorothy of Fairfield, IA; significant other—Connie Magnuson; stepmother Shirley Dorothy; 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, Aja, Emry, Jazzelle; brother, Dirk and two sisters: Peggy (Art) McDonald and Brigit Kuchenbecker.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
