Darren J. Roberts

Darren J. Roberts, age 18, of Fairfield passed away Feb. 20, 2018, at Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation for family & friends will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am, Friday, March 2, 2018, at First Baptist Church with Pastor John Kermott officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery.

Darren was born October 2, 1999 in Kansas City, MO to Harry Alden (Al) Roberts II and Nicole Dixson.

Darren was a senior at Fairfield High School. During high school he was on the Fairfield High School track & cross-country teams, and a member of band and choir. Darren attended Fellowship of Christian Athletes and church camps. He looked forward to spending time outdoors fishing, camping and collecting deer antlers. Darren was a Kansas University Jayhawks fan. He loved his family, his dog, Takate, and his rabbits. He will be greatly missed by his family and all his friends.

Left to share Darren’s memories are his parents, Scott and Nicole Harris and Jason Wages and family; 6 siblings, Dakota Wages, Brayden Wages, Téa Harris, Isaac Harris, Alaina Harris and Ryleigh Wages; grandparents, Brenda and Sidney Leckbee, John and Martha Garner, John Roberts and Mickie Brooks; grandmother, Nina Wages; great grandparents, Dale and Betty Dixson, Wanda Roberts and Kay Beach.

Darren was preceded in death by his father, Al Roberts; and great grandfathers, Harry Roberts and Charlie Beach.
